It's a quality country ham maker's worst nightmare...seeing the ham we spent months curing, smoking and aging cut into half-inch thick slabs. Not here. This is the "choice" portion of our country hams already sliced into about 20 extra-thin, boneless slices.
Why all the hubbub about thickness? Thin slices enhance the extra-rich, hickory-smoked flavor of our Virginia Country Hams; thick slices can overpower the unique and delicate flavor. (Practically speaking, thin slices also make the country ham go a lot farther at the dinner or buffet table.) Easy, elegant, perfect for the busy hostess.
Our mouth-watering, hickory-smoked and aged Virginia Country Ham slices are fully cooked and sliced thin -- ready to serve as main entree, on sandwiches, salads or buffet table. 1 lb. Virginia Country Ham slices vacuum-packed and delivered in a handsome burgundy and gold gift box. Two 1 lb. packages available without gift box.

Saute 1/2 lb. torn ham slices in 3 T butter 5 minutes. Pour in 1/2 C strong coffee and 1/4 C water. Simmer low 5 minutes. They don't know what hit 'em! They all ask where they can get that ham and I share.

Rated By: Jade (Kansas City, KS) Born and raised on a Virginia farm, my husband is a connoisseur of good ham and he introduced me to this particularly delectable sliced ham. He learned his good sense from his grandma, a wonderful old-school Virginia home cook.
This ham is sliced perfectly, wonderfully salted (not overpowering) and the perfect accompaniment to a lightly buttered sweet roll (try Pepperidge Farm country rolls or the Hawaiian sweet rolls as a fair substitute). The combination of salty ham and sweet, buttered roll is sublime! They are the perfect bite-sized ham sandwiches for any special occasion.

For order delivery before Thanksgiving Day, most items require expedited
Air service. Delivery charges include standard shipping (from chart), plus $14 per item. Orders shipping to VA, NC, TN, MD, DE and PA require standard shipping charges only. If products are not needed by Thanksgiving Day, our next available shipping date is the week of December 1st with standard shipping charges applying. If shipping to Alaska or Hawaii add $25.00 per item plus standard shipping charges.
